This 4th/5th grade class spent a little extra time in the fresh air making pictures of leaf rubbings. Right away they all start discussing the leaves and what they know about identifying different trees from their leaves.
If only we could take art to the woods! If you can, see if your family can make some time for art in the woods. You just need a paper and a peeled crayon to make a beautiful picture of real leaf rubbings!
